having time to play

I know I promised a while ago a picture of a doll I was finishing well.... Drum roll please...... here is the doll I was working on "Basic Woman" designed by Pam Grose .. I had some yummy sequined lace in my stash from which I cut the motifs and layered them over the dolls nakie body (poor girl has been nakie for quite a while as I thought about ways to dress her) and finally it came to me...

Do your dolls talk to you? I know mine talk to me telling me they want this or that or noooo would be caught dead in that.... LOL I mean really who is in control here??

Any way I am finished and am quite happy she is now dressed in her pink finery... I think a pair of lovely wings are called for though and will have a play soon to create them..

remember the new eyes I have in stock? well I just loved the new colours so much I had to play! LOL I have been sitting at night making a few head from one of Pam Grose's designs in my spare time and these are what I came up with...The eyes I used were the rose crystal, the aurora cobalt and aurora green. I just love the new colours they are so vivid...

 I am really happy with the way this head turned out. I have been working with a slightly different technique from what Pam does but the results are fantastic

Trying the baseball stitch... works great!!

I even practiced the baseball stitch I told you about earlier... I cant wait to see these finished but it may take a while. I even got to dress one of my nakie fairies last week LOL, she has been wearing paper towels for modesty for almost a year now. I will try to organize photos of her soon

I am so excited!!! I have finally found a supplier for Round Acrylic Doll eyes... and they come in a wonderful range of colours.... These are now going to be available on the website as a separate item for purchase... or if you want the colour as part of a kit, its simple, just email me and request the colour you want and I will add it to the kit of your choice...

I have ordered a taster in so if you see a colour you like order it quick so you dont miss out... you can reserve your colours now as they are up on the website. I expect these to arrive sometime before the end of August 2010.
